I usually wake up in the morning with a mind full of ideas and inspiration. It has been so, since the fall of 2008 when I decided to quit my job and start on my own as an artist.

I love creating and I feel I have a lot to give to the people around me. I find great pleasure in inspiring people around me through my art.

I am 52 years old. I am a self-employed painter and in addition to creating my own art I teach courses in experimental painting and collage techniques.

About my work:

I work with paintings in many layers. I find inspiration in all kinds of patterns, contrasts, structures and colors which I use for my intriguing experimental collage paintings.

The painting are made using a mixture of techniques working with acrylic, stain, serigraphy prints, paper as well as numerous painting and coloring materials. My paintings consist of many layers of different materials and I finish them by applying a lacquer to bring the elegance of the colors in the paintings forward.

I experience the process as movements and energy emerging through color, light, structure and thoughts. In the end these elements come together in a universe of stories.

My paintings are intense, graphical and harmonic where the balance between the raw and brutish and the feminine is expressed.

Selected Exhibitions:

My paintings have been on display in various Danish as well as international galleries in this regard I would like to highlight the following.

Galleri Hamnen (Viken, Sweden) Gallerie Marziart (Hamburg, Germany), Galleri -X (Copenhagen, Denmark), Galleri Art Expo (Aarhus, Denmark), Galleri Lyrum (Aarhus Denmark)

Furthermore I was selected to be part of the book “101 Kunstnere” (101 artists) by Tom Jørgensen, on the publishing company JA. In addition to these exhibitions I have had my works displayed in numerous other galleries and art associations (please let me know if you need more references).
