Streetart / Collage
Street art is visual art created in public locations, usually unsanctioned artwork executed outside of the context of traditional art vans. Common forms and media include spray paint graffiti, stencil graffiti, wheatpasted poster art, sticker art and street installations. Street art is a contemporary art movement which includes all forms of art created in the street or more generally in public spaces. Key to this movement is the use of public spaces as a means of expression and a way of addressing a message to a large number of people.
Collage is a technique of an art production, primarily used in the visual arts, where the artwork is made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole. A collage may sometimes include magazine and newspaper clippings, ribbons, paint, bits of colored or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas. The origins of collage can be traced back hundreds of years, but this technique made a dramatic reappearance in the early 20th century as an art form of novelty.
