Pale-blue and grey passages spread between dark horizontal bands in “Your haze” by Birthe Villaume. Above, a creamy, peach-coloured field opens over an irregular, near-black horizon. Small orange accents glow along the transition, introducing warmth to the cooler shades below.
Broad, slanting brushstrokes move through the centre, while fine vertical lines and dark marks create variation towards the right. In the lower section, deep grey and black fields gather around vivid turquoise accents. Layered strokes and broken traces of colour give the surface a shifting character, with some forms emerging clearly while others dissolve into lighter areas.
The title may invite the viewer to experience a landscape seen through haze. Horizontal passages might suggest a coastline, stretches of water or distant shores, yet the painting leaves the location undefined. The wide 120 × 90 cm format provides room for the open view and the tension between warm light above and cooler, darker movements in the foreground.
