Profile: Sergei Inkatov

Sergei Inkatov was born in Baku, Azerbaijanin 1971. In 1987, he entered art vocational school to study painting. He later moved to Tver, Russia where he continued his artistic studies.
He now lives and works in Tallinn, Estonia, where he is an active member of the Russian Artists’ Union. Sergei Inkatov’s work is collected worldwide, including artworks held in the Museum in Narva, Estonia, Galeria Comas in Barcelona, Spain, and the Russian Art Fund’s Cultural Property collection.
In 2011, Sergei Inkatov was highlighted as one of Tallinn’s outstanding artists as part of the city’s winning bid for the EU’s annual European Capital of Culture title.

In 2009 S.Inkatov was awarded the Decoration sign for a very successful personal exhibition in ST. Peterburg at tne N-Prospect Art Gallery. Also the album was issued with works by the artist.
Works of S. Inkatov are held in the Art Museum of Narva, «Cultural Property» of the Art Fund in Russia, at the «Comas» and » Torcul» gallery in Spain, Barcelona. At the Maardu Administration in Estonia and many private collections around the world.
