Profile: Oscar Vela

I am an artist, who doesn’t limit myself to a particular genre or approach. But enjoy diversity of subject, media and technique.

Graduated at Vrå High School, and Aarhus Academy of Arts, 1980.

Has been performing artist for almost 30 years, with countless exhibitions behind me. I am also a teacher, graphic designer and author of several poetry collections. known for its beautiful works by dancers.

Dance is a language that can capture joy and love.
I try to capture the music with the color and let the strokes create the movement.
I always return to the dance.
In one way I have become the painter of the dance.
