My paintings come when I immerse myself with my inner voice and are in tune with my heart. I sense the tiny nuances of everyday life, get inspired by the sensual, the presence, our beautiful nature, the world of music and not least the unique people I meet on my way. My spiritual approach to life inspires and supports me in the process of creating my art.
I have been painting for many years, but it is only in the context of a period of sadness and stress in my life that my creativity fully folded onto canvas. Through the immersion in my healing process, I searched the world of art and new spiritual images opened up for me. One image after another, pressed on, and unfolded on the canvas. When I surrender to the canvas, I experience a redemption and a deepening that helps to relieve and bring me renewed energy.
I work in many layers with acrylic, collage, stain, screen printing and paper. I always finish my works by painting them, so the colors appear beautiful.
