I love colors, love to saturate the canvas and fill it with clear and broken colors that play off each other, as if they are fighting their own battle to ultimately stand out clearly and expressively. I use colors and shapes to express myself and in each image there is a story hidden.
The work with my images appears in many layers, in spontaneous and experimental brushstrokes, where coincidences are often allowed to control the process, thereby achieving a vivid and uncontrolled expression. I work with acrylic paintings, as well as collages (mixed media) made from a mixed technique of acrylic, paper, silkscreen printing and various drawing and coloring materials. My intention is not that the viewer will necessarily find the same story that I had when I created the picture, but it is my hope that you will find your own story and message in the pictures. The pictures are finally varnished so that the colors stand out beautifully.

Art critic at Jyllands Posten Tom Jørgensen and editor at Kunstavisen have described my pictures as follows:
"Dramatic and expressive compositions. Forms that interact with each other. A rich palette of colors ranging from pure bright colors to broken colors and earth colors. Inspiration from abstract expressionism, from Asger Jorn and Per Kirkeby. This is how you can describe Lone Stampe's visual universe.
What I find exciting is that she doesn't just copy the old Cobra masters, but does what Asger Jorn expects from every work of art: shows a new world every time, spontaneously, intuitively and powerfully.
Lone Stampe certainly works spontaneously and with great temperament, but it's all guided by the gaze of a connoisseur. Colors and shapes sit as they should. You can't really ask for more."
